Shopify KPI Definitions

Return Gross ValueShopify refund line subtotal / line price × returned quantity. This is gross return value, not COGS or inventory cost.

Return Value RateReturn Gross Value divided by Total Gross Sales, so value is compared against value.

Return UnitsReturned quantity from Shopify refund line items.

Unit Return RateReturned units divided by units sold, used only at product/vendor level when units sold are available.
